Flamengo's massive victory in the CONMEBO Libertadores U-20. In their third qualifying match, the red-and-blacks easily defeated Sporting Cristal-PER 4-1 this Sunday in Uruguay, confirming their first place in Group C, with a 100% record and the best overall record. Felipe Teresa, Wallace Yan (2), and Iago scored Mengão's goals. 

The team led by coach Mário Jorge will face the Argentine team Rosario Central in the semi-final, next Thursday (14), in the city of Maldonado.

O JOGO

Already qualified for the semifinals, Flamengo entered the field with a mixed team, with coach Mário Jorge's objective being to give opportunities to other players in the squad and rest most of the starters.

In his first play of the game, in the 5th minute, Wallace Yan ran through the middle and launched Felipe Teresa, who believed in the play and made it 1-0 for Mengão.

At a blistering pace, the red-and-blacks scored their second goal three minutes later. In a well-worked play down the left flank, Victor Silva sent a low cross into the box, and Wallace Yan slotted it into the back of the net, unstoppable by the goalkeeper.

And the red-and-blacks practically secured the victory in the first half. Daniel Rogério, on the right, passed to Wallace Yan, who skillfully made it 3-0. This was the striker's fourth goal of the competition.

After the break, top scorer Wallace Yan was replaced by Felipe Brian, with Lucyan being moved to right-back, his original position. 

The Mais Querido maintained the same pace in the opening minutes and scored the fourth goal in the 7th minute, with Iago, on a penalty kick. In the previous play, João Victor had been brought down in the box.
