Flamengo thrashes the Brazilian U-17 team
Friendly was marked by red-black goals for both teams
By *Fernanda Cansanção and João Pedro Ribeiro - inFlamengo faced the Brazilian U-10 team this morning (17) and came out on top in a training match. Flamengo played with a mix of U-16 and U-17 players and thrashed their opponents 5-1. Vitor Gabriel, Bill, Alecxandro, Marx Lenin, and Joarley scored for the "Mais Querido." Vinicius Junior scored for the team. The unusual thing about the match was the Brazilian team's goal. It's safe to say that all of Flamengo's goals were scored by Flamengo players, as striker Vinicius Junior is part of the youth academy of the "Mais Querido."
"These activities are always a great addition to our athletes, especially when held at Granja Comary and against the Youth Teams, as they can experience high-level technical matches in an environment that is conducive to their development as high-performance athletes," said Kadu Borges, youth coordinator.
