Flamengo formalizes partnership with Inter de Minas
The club has signed an agreement to recruit and develop youth athletes with a training team certified by the CBF.

Flamengo officially announced, this Tuesday (26), a partnership with Inter de Minas — a training club certified by the CBF — for the recruitment and training of athletes in the State of Minas Gerais. Alfredo Almeida and Ricardo Perlingeiro, director and manager of the scout/market department of the red-black youth categories, respectively, were present at the headquarters of the Minas Gerais club, in Itaúna, to seal the agreement.
The partnership also provides for technical cooperation and knowledge exchange between committees and the implementation of training methodologies and development concepts aligned with Flamengo's philosophy, ensuring that athletes trained in Minas Gerais have a high-level technical and tactical foundation.
Under the established model, Flamengo representatives will maintain ongoing contact with Inter de Minas and periodically visit the club to monitor training sessions, analyze, and evaluate athletes. In addition to formalizing the partnership, Alfredo took the opportunity to meet with the Minas Gerais team's directors and coaching staff to discuss the beginning of the work.
"This partnership is important for expanding our recruitment and development, two of the main pillars of Flamengo's youth academy. Minas Gerais football is a central hub, with countless emerging players who have achieved success in Brazil and abroad, and we will have the opportunity to take a closer look at this hotbed of talent, alongside Inter de Minas," says Alfredo Almeida.
Inter meets Flamengo's objectives by pursuing a DNA focused on developing athletes. The club from the interior of Minas Gerais competes in the first division of the Campeonato Mineiro in the under-14, under-15, under-17, and under-20 categories; and has already participated twice in the traditional Copa São Paulo. Furthermore, it competes in the access division of the professional championship, with youth athletes, aiming to complete the development cycle.
Inter de Minas' CEO, Thiago Gosling, couldn't hide his enthusiasm for the partnership:
