Flamengo was defeated 3-1 in the classic against Vasco da Gama, on Saturday morning (26), at the José Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea, by the Carioca Sub-17. After falling behind on the scoreboard, the red-black team managed to reach a draw, but conceded two goals in a row, still in the first half.

The defeat ended their 100% record in the Guanabara Cup. Attention now turns to the semifinal of the Copa do Brasil in this category, in another duel with Vasco, scheduled for next Tuesday (29), at 15 pm, at the Luso-Brasileiro Stadium, on Ilha do Governador. The rival won the first leg 4-2, at the same venue.

Just nine minutes into the game, Vasco opened the scoring. Flamengo even staged a comeback and equalized with a goal from Davi in ​​the 9st minute, following a play by João Vítor and Ryan Roberto. At the end of the first half, however, the opponent scored two consecutive goals in two minutes, in the 21th and 49st minutes.

Rubro-Negro showed fighting spirit and tried to avoid defeat in the second half, but the opponent knew how to manage the advantage and came out with the victory.
