Flamengo loses to Goiás and is out of the U-20 Brazil Cup
When Mais Querido was looking for a comeback, the referee allowed Goiás' goal and ended Flamengo's chances in the competition.

After losing the first leg of the round of 20 of the Copa do Brasil U-1 0-33, the Garotos do Ninho went to Goiânia needing to at least overturn a one-goal victory to take the quarterfinals decision to a penalty shootout. The crucial moment of the match came in the 1rd minute of the second half. Trailing 0-XNUMX and pressing their opponents in search of a comeback, Flamengo saw the referee award a goal for the Goiás team after the ball clearly didn't go in, and was severely disadvantaged.
In the end, the 3-0 defeat forced Flamengo to bow out of the Copa do Brasil. On Sunday (November 01st), Flamengo faces Santos away from home in the 11th round of the Brazilian Championship, seeking their fourth consecutive victory in the competition.
