Flamengo loses to Vasco and ends its participation in the Carioca Sub-17

The Ninho Boys are unable to impose their game and end up defeated 3-0 in Gávea

In the second leg of the Carioca Sub-17 semifinals, Flamengo was defeated by Vasco da Gama 3-0 on Friday morning (26), in Gávea. With the result, the red-black team ended its participation in the championship.

The game
The derby started with a measured approach, with Rubro-Negro taking the initiative. Vasco, on the other hand, adopted a more withdrawn stance and waited for a counterattack. In the 22nd minute, Matheus França received the ball on the left and attempted a lob, but the ball went wide. In the 29th minute, Vasco opened the scoring with Barros: 1-0. The first half ended with a partial victory for Vasco.

In the second half, Vasco scored their second goal with GB in the 18th minute, after a counterattack, making it 2-0. The "Garotos do Ninho" struggled to create attacking plays and couldn't get their game going. In the 38th minute, Vasco extended their lead with Ryan, making it 3-0. With this setback, Vasco ended their participation in the championship.
