Flamengo snatched a draw against São Paulo, away from home, in the third round of the Brazilian Under-17 Championship. In the match played this Tuesday (9), at the CFA Stadium, in Cotia-SP, Rubro-Negro suffered the first goal and managed to react, scoring an important point. João Vitor Couto hit the net and closed the score at 1x1.
As expected, São Paulo tried to attack from the start to score as quickly as possible and managed to take the lead in the 14th minute. Coach Daniel Franklin's team didn't give up and went in search of an equalizer. Their dedication paid off, and in the 12th minute of the second half, João Vitor Couto scored the equalizing goal, giving the final score to the match.
Flamengo's next match in the Brazilian Under-17 Championship will be against Atlético-MG, the current champion, next Tuesday (16), at 15 pm, at the José Batos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea.
