Flamengo holds tournament in search of new Nest Boys

“Festival Pratas do Ninho” takes place on the 7th in Gávea, with free registration

Vinícius Junior, Lucas Paquetá, Leo Duarte, Lincoln, and many others. They all took their first steps in Flamengo's youth academies and futsal programs. With the aim of discovering new young talents who could join the club's youth teams, Flamengo's Football Department, through its Recruitment and Futsal divisions, will hold the first "Pratas do Ninho" Festival on September 7th, Independence Day Friday. The event, aimed at football academies, social projects, and neighborhood clubs, has free registration and will be open to young players in the Under-06 and Under-08 categories.

Flamengo gives young people the opportunity to join its youth academy.

See below for step-by-step instructions on how to register:

1) Send an email to: marcio.lopes@flamengo.com.br e luiz.junior@flamengo.com.br ;

2) Team name;

3) Location where the team trains;

4) Number of athletes in the category;

5) Name and identity of the responsible teachers;

6) Brief historical summary of the project/team.

After this email is sent, the information will be analyzed and the teams that will participate in the event will be determined. After confirmation, the team leader will be informed directly of the schedule, times, and all details about the competition.

"The Pratas do Ninho Festival's main objective is to hold a high-level competition for scouting, recruiting, and developing potential players for our football and futsal teams. In addition, it aims to foster great social and emotional integration among its participants, providing a fantastic experience for athletes of all ages."

The entire event will be held in Gávea, at the training and official match facilities of the Flamengo Futsal teams. Matches will consist of two ten-minute halves, and each athlete will play a minimum of two and a maximum of five games, depending on the team's success in the tournament, which will have a total of 12 teams. On the day of the event, athletes must bring their photo ID or membership card, as well as the team registration form.

The outdoor court will also be a stage for young athletes to showcase their talent.

“Our technical staff will be present during the Festival to observe the most outstanding athletes at the event. It could be a unique opportunity for each of them to become part of our youth teams, which win more titles every year and train and develop more athletes who will be the future of Flamengo,” concluded Marcio Campos, Futsal Coordinator of the beloved club.
