Flamengo's under-17 team returned this Monday morning (08), at CT George Helal - Ninho do Urubu, aiming to prepare for the decisive week ahead. In addition to the decisive match against Fluminense, on Saturday, for the State semi-final, this Tuesday (9), the Garotos do Ninho face Londrina, in Gávea, at 15 pm, to reverse the unfair 1-0 defeat, in the first leg of the first phase of the Copa do Brasil.

To secure qualification for the second phase of the national competition, coach Phelipe Leal's team must win the match by two goals to avoid having to resort to penalties. Midfielder Yuri de Oliveira emphasized that the team has been working hard since the last game, so that Tuesday's result will secure qualification.

"The work is being done well, and we know our responsibility. In the first game, we hit hard, but we didn't score. We've been working hard since the last game. We're dedicating ourselves and focusing on what we did wrong so we can do things differently tomorrow and qualify."

Thirty-two teams will be divided into 32 home-and-away knockout matches. The team that earns the most points advances to the next stage. If the visiting team wins by two or more goals, the second leg is eliminated. If the teams are tied on points at the end of both matches, the following tiebreaker criteria will be used: 16st - goal difference; 1nd - penalties.
