Flamengo suffers setback in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship
Despite having played a good game, the red-black team was defeated by Athletico-PR, in Paraná.

Officially debuting in the Brazilian Under-20 Championship (match against Cuiabá was postponed from the first round), Flamengo playing this Friday, at CT do Caju, in Paraná, was defeated by Athletico-PR, 2-1. Guilherme scored for the red-blacks
The next commitment for the Mengão kids will be next Friday (28), when they will face the classic against Vasco, away from home.
The game
The important absences and the fact that they were not used to artificial turf hindered the Garotos do Ninho throughout the game.
Flamengo's first significant attack of the first half came in the 1th minute. On a counterattack, Wallace Yan attempted a shot on goal, but the goalkeeper saved it. Guilherme also tried to score from the rebound, but his shot went over the bar.
In the 22nd minute, Daniel Sales nearly opened the scoring with a beautiful shot. In the 24th minute of the first half, another good play by Mais Querido (The Most Beloved). Striker Wallace Yan received the ball on the right and shot, but the goalkeeper made a good save.
In the 41st minute, Lorran found Shola on the right. The striker sent a low cross into the six-yard box, but Wallace Yan just barely got there to finish.
And the Rio de Janeiro club's goal came in the first half. Minutes after goalkeeper Leo Nanneti made two great saves, Shola was released free, got past the defender, and passed the ball to Guilherme, who tapped it into the back of the net: 1-0.
In the second half, the Garotos do Ninho ended up feeling tired, which was decisive in the match's extra time.
At 12, Shola received a good cross but wasted it.At 26, Joshua, who had just come on for Lorran, exchanged passes with Wallace Yan, but shot straight at the goalkeeper.
In the 43rd minute, Shola, one of the game's standout players, took the best chance, sprinting down the left and leaving Wallace Yan face-to-face with the goal. Despite the shot, the goalkeeper performed a miracle. In the 48th and 52nd minutes, the home team turned the game around.
