Another final!

The U-14 Ninho Boys continue to shine this season. Playing in Paraguay, Flamengo defeated Independiente Del Valle 1-0 and advanced to the final of the Conmebol Evolution Festival. João Vitor (top scorer with six goals in the competition) scored the winning goal in the second half. 

The 2009 generation is fighting for its 6th title of the season and will face Velez Sarsfield (ARG) in the final, in the competition that is considered the Libertadores of the category.

With this qualification, Mengão secured a spot in the world championships in Madrid, Spain. Last year's tournament took place in the United States.
