On a brilliant morning for goalkeeper Bruno, Flamengo's U-14 team qualified for another final in 2023. This Saturday, in Pinheiral-RJ, in the semi-final of the Voltaço Cup, the "Garotos do Ninho" (Flamengo's youth team) drew 1-1 in regulation time against Serrano de Petrópolis, but prevailed in the penalty shootout: 3-1. The Flamengo goal was scored by Daniel, 2 minutes into the second half. 

The grand final of the competition will take place this Sunday at 11 am at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, when the The team managed by coach Daniel Franklin will face Fluminense.

In a very balanced match that ended in a 1-1 draw over the 90 minutes, the spot in the Voltaço Cup final went to penalties. With the composure of a professional goalkeeper, Bruno (born in 2009) saved three penalties and took Flamengo to the final with a 3-1 victory.
