Flamengo U-15 confirms favoritism and opens up an advantage over Portuguesa in the Carioca quarterfinals

In a match held on Sunday morning (16) at the Luso-Brasileiro Stadium, on Ilha do Governador, Flamengo's U-15 team, champion of the Guanabara Cup and led by coach Leonardo Cherede, easily beat Portuguesa 3-0 (David, Ítalo and Bidu), in the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Carioca Championship in the category, and further extended its advantage in the confrontation. Next weekend, the Garotos do Ninho can lose by up to two goals and still qualify for the semifinals of the competition.

Mengão took the lead early in the first half. Shortly after the technical timeout, in the 27th minute, Tallyson crossed the ball into the box, Joshua hit it across the goal, and top scorer David, always perfectly positioned, slotted it into the back of the net.
