Flamengo U-15 eliminates the Brazilian National Team in the July 2nd Cup
The Ninho Boys secured a place in the semi-finals after beating Brazil on penalties.
By Communication - inThe U-15 Boys from the Nest made history this Sunday. In the quarterfinals of the Copa 2 de Julho at the Pituaçu stadium in Bahia, Flamengo defeated the Brazilian national team 5-4 on penalties after a 0-0 draw in regulation time. Goalkeeper Eduardo was the hero, saving two shots.
In the semifinal, the team led by coach Vinicius Durante will face Palmeiras, next Tuesday (11), at 10:30 am, also at Pituaçu.
