Flamengo U-15 eliminates Botafogo and is in the final of the Campeonato Carioca
Guanabara Cup champions, Garotos do Ninho secure a place in the final with an aggregate score of 3-2.

The Mengão U-15 team, champion of the Guanabara Cup and led by coach Leonardo Cherede, is in the final of the Campeonato Carioca. In a classic match held on the rainy morning of this Wednesday (2), in Gávea, the Garotos do Ninho took the lead, suffered the comeback but knew how to manage the good advantage obtained with the 2-0 victory in the first leg, and even with the 2-1 defeat (João Victor), they guaranteed a place in the final with an aggregate score of 3-2. The decision will be against Fluminense, with the second game taking place in Gávea, since Flamengo has the best campaign in the competition.

The first half was very tight, with few scoring chances for either team. Twelve minutes into the second half, Gabriel Matthew's free kick was headed in by João Victor, giving the Boys of the Nest the lead. A minute later, Micaell equalized for Botafogo, also with a free kick. The visitors turned the game around in the 12st minute, with a goal from Cauã. But at the final whistle, it was the Boys of the Nest who celebrated their place in the final.
