Flamengo U-15s thrashes Nova Iguaçu away from home in the Guanabara Cup
A 4-0 victory puts Mengão back in second place and in the fight for the title.

In a match played on a sunny Saturday morning (3) at the Nova Iguaçu Training Center and valid for the sixth round of the Guanabara Cup, the Mengão U-15 team, led by coach Leonardo Cherede, played with great teamwork and beat the home team by an unassailable 4x0 (João Paulo Camargo, Douglas Telles, Christian and Joshua).
The victory, combined with a 0-0 draw between Fluminense and Botafogo, with the black-and-white team winning 4-2 on penalties, puts the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) team tied with the "Tricolor" (Tricolor) in second place in the Guanabara Cup, with 14 points. The leader is Vasco, with 16 points. In the next round, on September 10th, the "Rubro-Negro" hosts Bangu at Gávea, with live and exclusive coverage on FlaTV and FlaTV+ starting at 09:8 am.
