Flamengo U-15 beat Botafogo away from home and secure a spot in the Carioca final

The Saturday that could end with the third Libertadores title began with an important victory for the red-and-black youth soccer team. In the first leg of the semifinal of the U-15 Carioca Championship, the team led by coach Leonardo Cherede, champion of the Guanabara Cup, beat Botafogo at CEFAT 2-0 (Pablo and Bidu), and further extended their advantage in the match. With the result, the Garotos do Ninho can lose by up to two goals next Wednesday (2), in Gávea, and will still qualify for the final of the competition.
The best player on the field from the opening whistle, Mengão translated its superiority into a goal in the 12th minute, when Pablo put the ball in the back of the net after an assist from Joshua. In the second half, in the 16th minute, Joshua provided another assist, this time to Bidu, who sealed another excellent victory for Mengão in the U-15 Carioca Championship.
