Os GThe Ninho Sub-15 team did their homework and won this Saturday morning (20), in Gávea, against the Nova Iguaçu team, by a score of 3 to 0, with goals from Antônio Neto, Levy and Ryan Roberto. With the result, the team led by coach Vinicius Durante remained in the G4 of the Copa Rio, with 21 points, and is getting closer to qualifying for the final phase.

Bolstered by the return of starting defender Levy, who recovered from an injury, Flamengo started the match hungry for victory. In the very first play of the match, right-back Heitor sent a cross-shot from outside the box, the goalkeeper rebounded, and Antônio Neto, with a classy touch, put it in the back of the net. In the 28th minute, Ryan Roberto, with a beautiful shot from the left side, almost extended the lead. But in the 31st minute, there was no way out. Defender-scorer Levy went forward, won the ball from the Nova Iguaçu player, and with a low touch, scored Mengão's second.

Throughout the second half, the red-and-black team maintained control of the match. In the 38th minute, Davi, who came on in the second half, made an excellent run down the right and passed to Ryan Roberto, who shot for a beautiful goal, sealing the victory.

Mais Querido will close the classification phase next Saturday (27), when it will face Bangu, at 13 pm, in Moça Bonita.

U-17 suffers setback in Copa Rio 

Playing the final match of the double round of the Copa Rio, this Saturday, in Gávea, Flamengo was defeated by Nova Iguaçu by a score of 5 to 1. The red-black goal was scored by Fabricio. 

Mathematically classified for the final phase, the team led by Leo Ramos will return to the field next Saturday (27), when they will face Bangu, at 15 pm, in Moça Bonita.
