Flamengo U-16 is in the final of the Brasil Soccer Cup

The dream of fighting for a second championship remains alive for Flamengo's U-16 team. In a thrilling match held this Saturday in Macaé, the "Garotos do Ninho" eliminated Palmeiras in the Brasil Soccer Cup, after a 1-1 draw in regulation time (Talysson's goal) and winning 4-3 on penalties. Goalkeeper Leo Nannetti shone, saving two penalties from the opposing team. In regulation time, Tallyson scored the red-and-black goal in the 12th minute of the second half.

The Most Beloved will face Santos in the final this Sunday (30), starting at 10 am, at the Claudio Moacyr stadium, the “Moacyrzão”, in Macaé! In addition, it is the fourth final in a row for the 2007 generation, who already won the Liam Brady Cup this year, against Liverpool, in England.

Victory in Europe - In a match also held this Saturday, in Prague, Czech Republic, for the CEE Cup 2023, Flamengo's U-19 team debuted with a victory by defeating Al Ain FC (United Arab Emirates), 1-0, with a goal from João Marcos, after 20 minutes of the second half.

The next game will be held this Sunday (30), against Slavia Prague, at 12:30 pm (Brasília time).
