Flamengo U-16 debuted in the Guilherme Embry Tournament showing the credentials of a team that won three competitions in the category in 2022. On the morning of this Wednesday, the 7th, the Garotos do Ninho beat Bonsucesso 4-1, in a game valid for the first round of the competition, which took place at CT das Vargens.

The scoring opened in the first half, in the eleventh minute, when Bill received a pass from Fabricio and scored. Luan Andrey then doubled the lead in the 13th minute. The third goal for the Red-Black team came from Pedrinho, after receiving a pass from Bill early in the second half. Guilherme added the fourth shortly after. The opposing team pulled one back late in the match.

Now, the U-16 team led by Eduardo Zuma is preparing to defend the Copa Gramado title, which takes place next week in Rio Grande do Sul.
