A victory thanks to the dedication and strong attitude of the U-16 Ninho Boys. In their debut match at the 2023 Flamengo Adidas Cup, the team led by Raphael Bahia defeated Orlando City (United States) 2-0. The Flamengo goals were scored by Douglas Telles (voted MVP) and Joshua, both in the first half.

The Mais Querido's next commitment will take place this Tuesday (12), against Cerro Porteño, from Paraguay, at 9 am, at Ninho do Urubu. In the match held simultaneously with the Mengão game, the Paraguayan team drew 1-1 with Chile's Colo Colo in Group 1.

The goals
In the third minute, in a play initiated by Wanderson, the full-back exchanged passes with striker Douglas Telles, who, already inside the six-yard box, shot, which the goalkeeper partially saved. The rebound was unstoppable, the ball finding the net, and it was 3-1, Mengão.

The second goal came from a switch from the right to the left. Striker David Viana headed the ball in, and Joshua, also with a header, sealed the match's final score.
