Mengão's U-16 team won another match in the Guilherme Embry Tournament. Playing at the Vargens Training Center on Tuesday afternoon, the Ninho Boys defeated Barra da Tijuca 3-1, maintaining their unbeaten run in the competition. Schlikmann, Victor Thiago, and Guilherme Gomes scored the goals for the red-and-blacks.

The game

Showing their usual superiority, Flamengo started the match dominating the action. As a result, they opened the scoring early. In the 8th minute, Schlickmann received the ball from Fabricio and scored. 

The situation remained unchanged in the second half, and in the fifth minute, Victor Thiago capitalized on Alex's assist to extend the lead. Soon after, in the 5th minute, it was Guilherme Gomes' turn to score. The opposition still managed to pull one back near the end. With this result, the "Garotos do Ninho" remain in second place with 18 points.
