After the 4-0 thrashing of Gramadense (RS) in their debut, Flamengo's U-16 team, led by coach Leo Ramos, returned to the field on Tuesday afternoon (28), at the Ernesto Volk Stadium, to face Internacional, in a duel valid for the second round of the group stage of the 2021 Gramado Cup. With a great collective performance in the first half, when they could have left the field already winning, the Garotos do Ninho won 2-1 (Bill and Jonathan), maintained their 100% record and the lead in Group B and, as a bonus, guaranteed their qualification for the semifinals of the competition. Tomorrow, at 15:30 pm, the Mais Querido returns to the field just to fulfill the schedule, and faces Grêmio. The tournament's official Facebook page broadcasts live.

Flamengo opened the scoring with their first touch. Ten minutes in, Adriel received the ball at the edge of the box and had his shot deflected by the defense. From the corner kick, Adriel headed the ball to Bill, who rose beautifully and scored his first goal for the U-16 category. He is the U-15's top scorer this season, with 14 goals. Shortly afterward, the referee stopped the match due to heavy fog.

After the break, the Ninho Boys returned to the field with even greater superiority over their opponents, extending their lead in the 31st minute with a beautiful shot from Jonathan from the edge of the box that left goalkeeper Diego Esser with no chance.
