Flamengo U-17 draws with Fluminense in Xerém for the Guanabara Cup
A 2-2 draw with goals from Wallace Yan and Jonathan saw the Ninho Boys reach eight points in the standings.

In a classic match valid for the fourth round of the Taça Guanabara and played on the rainy morning of this Saturday (20) in Xerém, the Flamengo Under-17 team, led by coach Leo Ramos, drew 2-2 (Wallace Yan and Jonathan) with Fluminense, and reached eight points in the competition. Before hosting Vasco at Gávea in the next round, Mais Querido visits Cruzeiro, in Contagem, in an important duel valid for the Brazilian Championship.
At 39 minutes, Daniel shot from the edge of the area and goalkeeper Jung made a great save. Flamengo was the better team and opened the scoring at 18 minutes of the second half with Wallace Yan. Fluminense equalized at 31 minutes with Miguel Vera. And they took the lead at 38 minutes, again with Miguel Vera. The Flamengo youth team didn't give up and leveled the score with Jonathan, on his first touch of the ball, at 42 minutes.
In the penalty shootout, which awards an extra point to the winner, the opponent won 9-8.

Under-15 team loses 100% record in the Guanabara Cup
After three wins in their first three matches, the Under-15 team, coached by Leonardo Cherede, lost 2-0 and relinquished their lead in the competition.
Fluminense opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a goal from Keven Samuel. In the final play of the first half, Pedro Denis headed in a third goal for the home team, sealing the final score.
