Champion of all national competitions in the 2021 calendar, Flamengo's U-17 team, led by coach Leo Ramos, debuted this Wednesday afternoon (3) in the 2022 edition of the Brazilian Championship in the category. Playing away from home, at CT Evaristo de Macedo, in Camaçari, the Garotos do Ninho demonstrated great superiority on the field, thrashing Bahia 4-1 (Lorran, Jonathan, Carbone and Felipe Lima) and winning the first three points in the competition.

Next Wednesday (10), Mais Querido receives Botafogo, in Gávea, for the second round. FlaTV broadcasts the classic live, at 15 pm. Before, on Saturday (6), Rubro-Negro visits Boavista, at CFZ, for the second round of the Taça Guanabara, also with live broadcast on FlaTV.

Superior Fla from the beginning in Bahia

In the 25th minute, Flamengo pressured Bahia's attack and nearly opened the scoring. Lorran stole the ball and passed it to Jonathan, who shot with aplomb, heading for the right corner. The ball skimmed past goalkeeper Alisson's post.

In the 38th minute, Mengão opened the scoring. Jonathan came out of the box, made a great individual play down the left wing of the red-and-black attack, and crossed the ball to Lorran's head, who headed it in with style, leaving Alisson with no chance. With his only shot on goal in the first half, Bahia equalized through Tiago in the 44th minute.

The Boys from the Nest scored their second goal early in the second half. On a quick counterattack, Lorran passed to Bill, who went one-on-one with Alisson. The Bahia goalkeeper made a partial save, but Jonathan was alert enough to capitalize on the rebound and fire a shot into the back of the net. In the 17th minute, after a free kick in the box, Carbone headed in for Mengão's third.

Rubro-Negro wanted a rout. It almost came in the 35th minute, when Felipe Lima spotted goalkeeper Alisson out of position and narrowly avoided scoring a stunning lob. In the final play, in the 49th minute, Felipe Lima fired a cross-shot into Mengão's fourth, rounding off a stunning victory in their Brasileirão debut.
