The U-17 Boys from Ninho are in the Copa Rio final. Playing this Saturday, in the second leg of the semifinal at Engenhão Stadium, Flamengo defeated Botafogo 3-2 (8-4 on aggregate) and qualified for the final. Their opponent will be Vasco, and the first game will be this Saturday at 14:30 p.m. at Gávea Stadium, broadcast on FlaTV. 

With a three-goal lead from the first leg (5-2), the Ninho Boys entered the opening minutes with a lot of seriousness and knowing how to impose themselves. Just two minutes in, Wanderson crossed low from the right, for Joshua to accurately finish: 1-0.

And the red-and-black youth maintained their strong performance, boasting excellent marking and speed on the counterattack. In the 21st minute, Douglas Telles, in a beautiful run down the right, advanced to the edge of the six-yard box and shot. The ball deflected off the opponent's defense and went in: 2-0. The home team reduced the deficit in the 28th minute.

In the 35th minute, Ryan Roberto nearly gave the lead to the Mais Querido with a shot from outside the box. Striker Camargo had his chance to score late in the first half. 

And Mengão came back strong in the second half. In the third minute, Camargo showed great opportunism in a play-off with the opposing defender and goalkeeper, putting the ball in the back of the net: 3-1.

With a big advantage on the scoreboard, six athletes entered during the second stage and did the job. Joshua, with a beautiful individual play, almost made it four. The opposing team still managed to reduce the deficit.
