Flamengo U-17 beat Puskás Akadémia (HUN) 3-0 and finished the Puskás Cup in third place
With goals from Jonathan, Felipe Lima and Daniel, Garotos do Ninho secure another medal in an international competition this season

Champion of the IberCup Madrid (Spain) and runner-up of the IberCup Cascais (Portugal) with the U-14 category, the red-and-black youth soccer team saw another generation perform well in Europe today. The U-17 team, led by coach Leo Ramos, defeated Puskás Akadémia (HUN) 3-0 (Jonathan, Felipe Lima, and Daniel), and concluded its participation in the Puskás Cup in Hungary with third place.
In addition to today's victory, Mengao defeated Honvéd (HUN) 2-0, drew 1-1 with Dinamo Kyiv (UKR), and was defeated 2-0 by Sporting (POR). In 2019, Mengao won the tournament undefeated.
In the bronze medal match, the Ninho Boys opened the scoring after just five minutes of play, with a goal from Jonathan
after an assist from Adriel. Vastly superior on the field, Mengão extended their lead in the 23rd minute with Daniel. In the 19th minute of the second half, Felipe Lima scored the third, securing third place in the traditional and important international competition.
