Flamengo U-20 draws with Cruzeiro and remains in the G4 of the Brazilian Championship
Even with eight absences, Garotos do Ninho played better, pressing until the end but drawing 1-1.

In a match held on Saturday morning (9), at Estádio da Gávea, and valid for the fifth round of the Brazilian Championship in the category, Flamengo's U-20 team drew 1x1 (Diego) against Cruzeiro, and remained in second place in Group A of the main national competition. Next Saturday (16), Mengão visits Atlético-MG, in Belo Horizonte, at 13:45 pm, with live broadcast on SporTV.
Cruzeiro conceded the first goal in the seventh minute, scored by Vitinho after a beautiful pass from Gui. And that was all Cruzeiro did in the game. From then on, it was all Flamengo. The equalizer came in the 27th minute, with Diego heading in a beautiful cross from Santiago. And the red-and-black pressure lasted until the final whistle.
In the second half, Mengão created good chances. The best opportunities fell to Daniel Cabral in the 26th minute, Petterson in the 32nd minute, and Iago in the 41st minute. Despite their extensive control, the ball didn't go in, and the final score of 1-1 keeps Flamengo in the top four of the Brazilian league, temporarily in second place in Group A.
