Flamengo's under-20s debut in the second phase of the Otávio Pinto Guimarães Tournament at 15 pm this Saturday (18.10), at the Gávea stadium. The match will be against São João da Barra, which shares Group F with the Rubro-Negro, as well as Olaria and Bangu. The team is coming off a victory over América, when, already qualified, they thrashed their opponent 4-0.
Only the top-placed team from each group will qualify, with the finals played in two home-and-away matches. Mais Querido's next match will be next Saturday (October 25.10th), at 16 pm, against Olaria.
Victories at the base
The under-13, under-14, under-15, and under-17 categories all won their matches. The under-13 and under-14 teams faced Portuguesa, and both teams won 5-0 for the older team and an impressive 11-0 for the younger team. In the next round, the teams face Bonsucesso (under-13 at 9 a.m. and under-14 at 10:30 a.m.) on Sunday (19.10/XNUMX) in Gávea.
For the under-15s, the victory was over Vasco, 5-4 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw in regulation time. The under-17s team also played against Cruzmaltino and won 3-1.
