Flamengo's youth team won another match in the U-20 Carioca Championship this Wednesday (March 11.03th) at 15 pm. The youth team defeated Volta Redonda 5-2 in Gávea. Debutant Willyan had the support and presence of many family members in the crowd. "The whole group deserves congratulations. Before the game started, everyone in the locker room was very supportive and asked me to go out on the field and play the game I know how to play. That gave me confidence," revealed the defender who came from Espírito Santo.

It was the team's sixteenth unbeaten match. Cafu opened the scoring just three minutes into the first half. Volta Redonda equalized shortly before halftime, but Flamengo then took off with two penalty goals from Douglas Baggio and one from Jajá. Late in the match, striker Wayni scored again in the final minutes. "This proves I have to believe until the end," he revealed.
