Flamengo U-20 defeats Volta Redonda and remains leader of the Guanabara Cup with a 100% record
With goals from Mateusão and Victor Hugo, the Ninho Boys win 2-0 and earn their third consecutive victory. Their next opponent will be Boavista.

It was the third victory for the Garotos do Ninho, who remain in the isolated lead of the competition, with 100% success. In the next round, Mais Querido will host Boavista, at Gávea, with live broadcast on FlaTV. The duel is scheduled for Saturday, the 16th, at 10 am.
The game was tough and balanced, but Flamengo controlled the action for the entire 90 minutes. After a goalless first half, the Flamengo youth team opened the scoring in the 11th minute of the second half with a goal from top scorer Mateusão, assisted by captain Daniel Cabral. In the 32nd minute, after another pass from Daniel Cabral (his fourth assist in the state championship; he has already scored a goal from a free kick in the rout against Audax), Victor Hugo tapped the ball into the net, sealing Flamengo's third consecutive victory in the Guanabara Cup U-20 tournament.
