Flamengo has two players called up to the U-16 team
Lucho Nizzo calls up Adryan and Matheus to compete in the tournament in Guadalajara, Mexico

Coach Lucho Nizzo called up this Wednesday the 18 players of the Brazilian U-16 team that will compete in a tournament in Gaudalajara, Mexico, in January 2010. Two Flamengo players were on the list. Both midfielders: Adryan and Matheus, Bebeto's son, remembered to this day for the gesture immortalized by his father at the 94 World Cup in his honor. Bebeto's "rock-the-baby" celebration took place in the quarterfinals of the tournament, in the USA, after scoring the first goal in the 3-2 victory over the Netherlands. The athlete ran off waving his arms and was joined by Mazinho and Romário. The tournament will be played from January 22nd to 30th of next year. The players will report on the 12th of that month for training at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro.
