Clube de Regatas do Flamengo played a key role in the seminar "Football: A Humanized Perspective on Athlete Development." The event took place on the 13th at the CBF headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and focused on discussing topics of paramount importance for the development of young athletes in Brazil, such as off-field aspects and social, psychological, and pedagogical knowledge, which contribute so much to the civic development of these young people who are part of the youth ranks of Brazilian football. The event's theme highlighted the importance of the work carried out at the clubs by social workers, educators, and psychologists, with panels addressing topics such as education, health and family, and behavior, always correlating these topics with the rights of children and adolescents.

Organized by CBF Social, the event was supported by Flamengo's Youth Social and Educational Department, comprised of Coordinator Bruno Coev, Social Workers Fernando Truyts and Gabriela Espinhoza, Social Services Intern Mariana Meireles, and Educator Monique Sena. Flamengo psychologist Maria Eduarda Wolf participated as a panelist. In addition, striker Lázaro, the club's top scorer in the U-17 category in 2019, participated in the panel "The Athlete's Perspective on Work Done Off the Field, Focused on Education, Health, and Family." Flamengo's Social Responsibility Manager, Camila Nascimento, spoke about her work at the club, and Eduardo Freeland, General Manager of Flamengo's Youth Soccer, moderated the panel "Knowledge and Practices: Education in the Sports Context."

"I understand that an event like this is crucial for the development of youth soccer in Brazil, as it brings a more humanized perspective to the debate, one that focuses not only on the athlete but, above all, on the individual who takes the field. I believe that by focusing increasingly on the individual, we will improve our player development process and, consequently, the soccer we all develop in Brazil," said Eduardo Freeland.

Speaking about his participation as a mediator in the event, Flamengo's General Manager of Youth Football added:

"I had the pleasure of participating directly in this event as a moderator of an important panel on education within the context of sport, where I was fortunate to share the stage with Bebeto, a great idol of the club, as well as psychologists Annie Rangel Kopanakis and Anderson Carneiro and pedagogue Izabella Bastos, in a very interesting debate through which I believe we made our contribution to this event, which is so important for Brazilian football and which the CBF promoted," concluded Freeland.
