The debut was the best in history. Not only in Flamengo's history in the São Paulo Junior Football Cup, but in all 52 years of the competition. After the impressive 10-0 score over Forte, from Espírito Santo, the Garotos do Ninho held their final training session on Friday afternoon (07), at Campo do Jardim Maria Helena, in Barueri, aiming for the match against Floresta (CE), valid for the second round of Group 29 of the Copinha. A new victory for Flamengo will guarantee the Mais Querido's early qualification for the second phase of the tournament. The duel takes place this Saturday (08), at 19 pm, at Arena Barueri. SporTV will broadcast live.

"Our team comes into the second leg of the Copinha tournament with great confidence. Just like in our debut, we'll try to impose our style of play from the first minute, knowing that a win will secure our early qualification," said defender Kayque Soares, who also spoke about his goal in the 10-0 victory over Forte (ES): "Regarding the goal, it feels amazing. Professor Fabio had been asking me to position myself well inside the box, and I was very fortunate to escape the marking and score my first goal in the Copinha tournament," the defender concluded.

Flamengo concludes its participation in the group stage next Tuesday (11), when it faces the home team from Oeste, at 21:45 pm, again at Arena Barueri and with live broadcast on SporTV.
