It's going to be a busy weekend for Flamengo's youth academy. The Gávea team is looking for more titles. This Saturday (January 29.01), the youth team (born in 1999) will play the final of the Laranjal Tournament in Minas Gerais against Ipatinga. The Flamengo team defeated the Juiz de Fora team in the semifinals and will go for the title undefeated.
On Sunday (30.01), the group of athletes born in 1996 decides a tournament in São Paulo, in the city of Cerquilha, against Fluminense. The team beat Bahia in the semifinals with a 1-0 victory, with a goal by Arlindo.
Juniors - Champion of the São Paulo Junior Football Cup, Flamengo takes to the field with some of the players who competed in the competition this Saturday at 17 pm for the Rio de Janeiro State Championship. The team from Gávea faces Vasco da Gama at São Januário Stadium. Flamengo, the most successful team in the history of the State Championship, has 28 titles and is seeking its twenty-ninth.
