Flamengo defeats Atlético-MG and is in the quarterfinals of the Under-14 Voltaço Cup

In the regional derby for the Voltaço Cup, Flamengo won. Playing this Thursday morning in Pinheiral, Rio de Janeiro, the U-14 team Garotos do Ninho defeated Atlético-MG 1-0 and qualified for the quarterfinals.
The red-black goal was scored by Pedro Pinho, 23 minutes into the second half.
Ranked first in the group (2 wins and 1 loss, with a positive goal difference of 7), Mais Querido, which is led by coach Daniel Franklin, will return to play in the competition this Friday (9), when it will face Vasco, at 13 pm, in the quarterfinals of the competition.
