Flamengo's U-20 team performed well once again. Against Brasília, the team maintained its 100% record in the competition with a 3-0 victory. Goals from Paquetá, Vizeu, and Patrick put Flamengo in the next round of the competition, where they will face Red Bull Brasil. The São Paulo team was their opponent in the first round of the group stage.

The match began with intense excitement just three minutes in. Felipe Vizeu was brought down inside the box. The referee didn't hesitate and awarded a penalty. Paquetá went for the shot, but his shot went over the bar. Even so, the youngster kept his head. In the 3th minute, he redeemed himself: Inside the box, he capitalized on a Dener header to open the scoring. 

The second goal came in the 30th minute of the first half. Felipe Vizeu pounced on a through ball, beat the defender, and struck powerfully to double the lead. Patrick scored the winning goal. He replaced Matheus Sávio in the second half and, shortly after, capitalized on a rebound to score the third.

Rubro-Negro will face Red Bull Brasil next Thursday (13.01), at 21 pm, at the Francisco Ribeiro Nogueira stadium, Nogueirão, in Mogi das Cruzes/SP, with broadcast on SporTV channels.
