A victory based on grit and the red-and-black DNA. In the derby held this Wednesday, Flamengo defeated rival Vasco da Gama 3-1 away from home at Artsul Stadium. The red-and-black goals were scored by Emanuel, João Vitor, and Luiz Guilherme.

Mengão's next match in the competition will take place next Saturday (4), at 13 pm, against Sampaio Corrêa, in Gávea.

O JOGO

In the first half, where the team led by coach Vinicius Durante did not find many spaces to attack, the same cannot be said of the second half.

With the score at a disadvantage, Mais Querido returned for the second half hungry for victory. It took just twelve minutes for the Garotos do Ninho to turn the score around with authority. Emanuel headed the first goal in the 7th minute. João Vitor then made it 2-1 in the 9th minute. Luiz Guilherme completed the scoring for Mengão in the 12th.
