And Flamengo U-20 is in the hunt for more at the end. After drawing the first leg of the semifinal (0-0), the team led by coach Filipe Luís confirmed their qualification with a 2-0 victory over Boavista this Thursday at Gávea. The goals were scored by Iago and Guilherme.
In the final, the Ninho Boys will face Vasco. The first match is scheduled for Saturday (October 5th), in Gávea.
Despite playing for a draw, coach Filipe Luís's team came out swinging and scored their goal in the seventh minute. A well-taken corner from Guilherme led defender Iago to head home the ball to make it 7-1.
