TWO-TIME CHAMPION! In the final of the Gramado Laghetto Cup, Mengão's U-16 team defeated Internacional 1-0 on Saturday morning (17) and won their second consecutive championship. Previously, they defeated Palmeiras in the semifinals. Top scorer Luan Andrey scored the winning goal for Flamengo with a free kick. It's worth noting that this was Flamengo's 25th youth title this year.

The game
The Ninho Boys started the match attacking Internacional. The first sharp move came in the fifth minute. Germano received the ball on the left, brought it to his right foot, and struck hard. The Colorado goalkeeper palmed it away for a corner.

Flamengo had the majority of possession and exchanged passes to try to open up space in the Colorado defense. Without any significant opportunities, the first half ended goalless.

Early in the second half, Mengão opened the scoring with a stunning goal! Luan Andrey unleashed a powerful free kick from the edge of the box, and the ball went into the goalkeeper's right corner: 1-0. It's worth noting that this was the red-and-black top scorer's fifth goal of the competition.

In the final stretch, Mais Querido managed their advantage, relentlessly attacking, and narrowly missed out on a second goal. With this result, Mengão won their second U-16 Gramado Cup title and, in addition, secured their 25th youth title this season.
