Flamengo is a finalist in the Fattorie Donna Giulia Youth Cup U-15, which is being played in Italy, and will face Manchester City, from England, this Sunday, starting at 5:30 am (Brasília time).

However, to reach the final match, they first had to get through the two quarterfinal and semifinal matches. The duel for a spot in the semifinals began very early, at 6:45 am (Brasília time), five hours earlier than in Italy. The "Garotos do Ninho" showed their inspiration and beat Fiorentina (ITA) 3-0. Pierre scored the first goal in the ninth minute, following an assist from Rafinha. In the second half, Fraga and Leo scored in the 3rd and 11th minutes, and Mengão sealed their place among the top four in the fifth edition of the Fattorie Donna Giulia Youth Cup U-15. 

In the second match of the day, at 13:30 pm (Brasília time), Flamengo faced Salernitana (ITA), who had defeated Chicago Fire (USA) 2-1 in the previous phase, and took no notice of another Italian team: another 3-0 victory, with goals scored by Thauan (20'/1T), Teixeira (16'/2T) and Leo (20'/2T). 

This Sunday (27), Mengão will face the English team for the title of the international competition that brought together 32 teams between April 24th and 27th, in Italy.
