In the first game of the double round of the Copa Rio, this sunny Saturday, at the Bastos Padilha Stadium, in Gávea, Mengão Sub-17 beat Serra Macaense 3-0.

The game

The first 20 minutes were dominated by the team led by coach Leo Ramos. With a tactic that forced the opponent into defense, the "Garotos do Ninho" (Nest Boys) had at least five good opportunities to open the scoring. The cross-shots from Schlickmann and Felipe Teresa, as well as David Viana's dangerous finish, were worthy of note.

After the timeout, Mais Querido continued to press. In the 31st minute, a good play by Pyetro resulted in Fabricio nearly scoring.

After the break, Flamengo came back with a vengeance, aiming for victory. Just five minutes in, a perfect cross from Pyetro sent David Viana's header clear and opened the scoring. It didn't take long for Flamengo to double its lead. On a move down the right flank, Felipe Teresa made a run through the opposing defense and, with a beautiful shot, found the back of the net. In the 5th minute, Bill sealed the match after receiving a superb pass.
