The young Flamengo youth academy team debuted with a victory in the São Paulo Junior Cup. Flamengo's under-20 team defeated Red Bull Brasil at the Nogueirão Stadium in Vila Industrial, Mogi das Cruzes, 2-1 this Sunday (January 3.01). The winning goals were scored by Paquetá and Felipe Vizeu, and now the team faces Palmeira/RN, who beat Mogi 4-0 and leads the group. The match will be at 19 pm this Tuesday (January 5.01).

Second time
Upon returning to the match, the Red-Blacks quickly opened the scoring. Less than ten minutes in, Vizeu stole the ball, cleared the defense, and passed it to Paquetá, who dribbled past the goalkeeper and made no mistake: 1-0. The team continued to push hard in search of a second goal. In the 37th minute, Vizeu scored his own, taking advantage of a precise pass from Cafu.
In the 45th minute, Red Bull scored their first goal on a solo play by Alisson. The referee even allowed four minutes of stoppage time, but Thiago's saves secured the victory.
