Flamengo made a great debut in the U-17 Brazil Cup. Playing this Wednesday at the Bastos Padilha stadium in Gávea, the "Mais Querido" defeated Aragoiania-GO 8-1 and secured their place in the round of 2. The red-and-black goals in the match were scored by: Fabricio Lentz (XNUMX), Menegatti, Felipe Teresa, Luan Andrey, Khauan Schlickmann, Christian and Pedrinho.
The game
With a renewed crop of promising players, the Garotos do Ninho played an intense first half. Just six minutes in, midfielder Fabricio opened the scoring, following a play initiated by Bill and a contribution from Felipe Teresa. Ten minutes later, the red-and-black team scored again. After a rebound from Bill, midfielder Menegatti tried twice, but both put the ball into the back of the net.
After the technical timeout, due to the high temperatures in Rio de Janeiro, Flamengo maintained their momentum, and Felipe Teresa, again with Bill's input, scored with his left foot: 3-0. In the 29th minute, the Goiás team pulled one back with a penalty kick. In the 36th minute, a pinpoint cross from full-back Lucyan led to Fabricio's superb finish, making it four.
In the second half, Mengão continued to dominate. After a few substitutions made by coach Leo Ramos, they scored four more goals. In the 29th minute, Luan Andrey made it 5-1. Two minutes later, in a well-worked play, Pedrinho set up Khauan Schlickmann for the sixth.
To end the inspired afternoon, Christian and Pedrinho sealed the score in the final minutes. Final: 8-1.
