On Saturday afternoon (07), at Gávea Stadium, Flamengo's U-15 team qualified for the semifinals of the Carioca Championship in the category after beating Sampaio Corrêa 6-0, in a match valid for the quarterfinals of the competition. The goals of the match were scored by Bernardo (2), Willian (2) José Ricardo and Leonardo. In total, Flamengo scored 11 goals and did not concede any.

With the favorable result of 5x0 obtained in the first match, away from home, the Garotos do Ninho started the match with a little less momentum, keeping the game under their control, but also counting on the help of the opposing team, which built little.

The game's defining moment came in the 12th minute, from Marcos Pierre, who nearly took the lead. After Bernardo's cross, he headed in and nearly opened the scoring for Mengão.

Five minutes later, at 17, Mengão scored their first goal with Bernardo, after receiving a sweet pass from Thomas.

Coach João Fernandes' men continued to dominate, and now, more focused, they were handling the ball more and controlling the opposing team. In the 22nd minute, they nearly scored the second goal, following a beautiful pass from Bernardo to José Ricardo.

At 28, the second goal: a cross from Ricardo, the opposing goalkeeper deflected the ball and now, José Ricardo scored his.

At 33, another one from Bernardo. The goalkeeper made a mistake and the ball fell to number 19 to score his second goal of the game.

A minute later, in the 34th minute, Ricardo once again crossed from the right and Leonardo had only to finish into the net. It was Flamengo's fourth goal of the match.

In the second half, with the result already secured, Flamengo continued to control the game and attack, managing to score two more goals with Willian, who came on in the second half, from a penalty in the 27th minute and a great goal dribbling past the defense in the 34th minute.

Now in the semifinals, the Garotos do Ninho will face Vasco, who qualified after beating Volta Redonda in both quarterfinal games.
