Flamengo defeats Ceará and qualifies for the quarterfinals of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship

By Communication - inA major victory for Flamengo and early qualification for the quarterfinals of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. In a match held this Thursday, the Garotos do Ninho defeated Ceará 2-0 away from home. Iago and Zé Welinton scored for Flamengo.
Mengão's next match will take place next Wednesday (14/8), against RedBull Bragantino, in Atibaia (SP).
THE GOALS:
After a back-and-forth inside the box, the opposing defender handled the ball. Defender and captain Iago skillfully converted the penalty, putting Brazil's Most Beloved team ahead four minutes into the first half.
In a well-worked play down the right, Lorran linked up with full-back Daniel Sales. Flamengo's number 2 advanced, almost to the byline, and sent a low cross that Zé Welinton found the target: 2-0.
