Flamengo defeats Athletico-PR in the Brazilian Under-17 Championship

An important victory for the Ninho Boys in the Brazilian Under-17 Championship. Coming off a negative away result last week, Eduardo Zuma's team defeated Athletico-PR 2-0 this Wednesday at Gávea, with goals from Douglas Telles.
Flamengo will return to the field for this competition next Wednesday (14), at 15 pm, to face Ceará, also in Rio.
THE GOALS:
In the first big moment of the first half, Douglas Telles almost opened the scoring in the 28th minute. The number 10 shot low from the edge of the box.
Douglas, who was very involved in the game, ended up being the game's hero. Four minutes into the second half, in a great play initiated by Luiz Phellipe on the left flank, the Flamengo midfielder, already inside the six-yard box, put the ball in the back of the net.
At 24, the hero of the match scored his second and third of the championship. Giovanni's solo effort, which crossed low to Douglas, sealed the victory: 2-0.
