Flamengo goes to Orlando Scapelli, in Florianópolis (SC), to face Figueirense, this Thursday (26), at 15 pm, for the 4th round of the Brazilian Under-20 Championship. After being beaten at home by Santos, in the last round, a victory over the Santa Catarina team is of utmost importance for the Rubro-negro's ambitions in the national competition.

With one win and one loss, Flamengo has three points and sits fourth in the standings, with two games remaining in the first phase. Only the top two teams in each group advance to the next stage. Aware of the challenge ahead, defender Dantas spoke about the week of preparation for the away game.

"During the week, coach Marcinho and Ramon worked hard with us on set pieces, our ball release, and firm marking. We're prepared; we've been through similar situations before. We're confident we'll play a great game and impose our style of play, even away from home. The work during the week was excellent; we're very focused. We aim to advance to the next stage until we reach our ultimate goal: winning this unprecedented title in Flamengo's history."

Coach Marcio Torres named the following players for the match against Figueirense: 

Aderlan, Bill, Dantas, Hugo Moura, Hugo Souza, Kazu, Kleber, Matheus, Michael, Patrick, Rafael, Reinier, Souza, Victor Hugo, Vinicius, Vitor Gabriel, Vitor Ricardo, Wendel, Yago Darub and Yuri.

The Most Beloved started the Brasileirão with a strong comeback away win over Atlético-PR. After going into halftime down 1-0, Flamengo came out more focused in the second half and turned the match around to 3-1. Goals came from Vitor Gabriel, Ramon, and Klebinho. In the second round, Flamengo hosted Santos, and despite a strong first half, they ended up losing 2-0 at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium.

Figueirense leads Group D with 7 points. In their opening match, Figueira drew 3-3 away to Internacional. In the second round, they hosted Atlético-PR and won 3-0, and in the final round, they traveled to Vila Belmiro, where they defeated Santos 2-1.

The championship is played in four phases. In the first phase, 20 clubs form four groups of five teams each, from which the top two teams per group qualify. In the second phase, the clubs form two groups of four teams each, with two teams per group qualifying for the semifinals and then the final. It's worth noting that in the first phase, matches are single-leg matches; from the second phase onward, teams play home-and-away until the final.

Flamengo and Figueirense will not be broadcast on television.

Tickets for the match will not be sold, and entry to Orlando Scarpelli Stadium will be free from 14:30 p.m. The nation is welcome to support the Garotos do Ninho as they seek victory in the Brasileirão U-20.
