In the under-20 category, the match will be for the 11th round of the Brazilian Championship of the category, at 17 pm, at the Nilton Santos Stadium. In the under-17 category, the atmosphere is one of a decision: Flamengo and Botafogo will compete for the title of the Recopa Carioca, at 21 pm, at the same venue. To conclude, the Garotos do Ninho will take the field for the Carioca Under-15 Championship, in the third game of the day against their rival, scheduled for 10 am, at Ninho do Urubu.

A victory in the Brazilian U-20 Championship match is very important for Flamengo, who are currently in tenth place in the standings. The Rubro-Negro have the same 14 points as Botafogo, who are in ninth place, and need to win this direct confrontation to try and get back into the qualifying zone. The top eight advance to the round of 16.

The classic of the Carioca Under-17 Recopa, between Flamengo and Botafogo, brings together the champions of the Copa Rio and the Carioca of last year, respectively. The teams faced each other last Saturday (9) for the ninth round of the Taça Guanabara of the category, on field 6 of Ninho do Urubu, the same place as the match this Wednesday. The red-black team won 4x1 and took the lead in the Taça Guanabara, with 24 points. Vasco is in second place, with 23, followed by Botafogo (20) and Fluminense (19), who have one game less.

In the under-15 category, Flamengo and Botafogo face each other in the ninth round of the Taça Guanabara. The game was postponed due to the category's Copa do Brasil, in which Rubro-Negro won 5-0 against Atlético-GO, last Sunday (10), at Ninho do Urubu, and qualified for the round of 16 of the competition, which is being played for the first time in this category. The opponent in the fight for a place in the quarterfinals will be Fluminense.
