"The importance of holding an exchange program and participating in international competitions like these is to provide our athletes with the opportunity to play against and interact with the world's top football teams, facing athletes from different cultures and styles of play. We have no doubt that this will provide them with a fantastic experience both in their personal lives, which is also a major concern of ours, and in their athletic development. Furthermore, we can benchmark the level of our athletes against the main football market," explained Carlos Noval, Flamengo's Director of Youth Football.
